NEW CHANGES TO OUR PETROLEUM AND PETROCHEMICAL PRODUCT RANGE

HD Scientific wishes to advise that we will no longer be promoting products from PAC (LP) organisation in the USA. This includes product brands such as Herzog, Antek, Alcor, and Petrospec.

It is with regret that we terminate this relationship, after a long-standing distribution arrangements, with some of the abovementioned companies going back to HD Scientifics inception in 1972.

HD Scientific is committed to providing an on going service to our existing customers for all currently installed instrumentation. Our factory trained engineers understand your needs and will continue to provide the very best service possible.

However, times and businesses change, we see this move as a positive step and wish to advise you of our new selection of products (Refer to our Oil & Petrochemical Category) which will offer all our valued customers instruments and consumables from world renowned manufacturers such as Normalab, Eralytics and Compass.

We look forward to our continued business relations and welcome your enquiries.

EXCHANGE RATE VARIATIONS

Lets us help you to eliminate your risk due to exchange variations.

Our written quotations always state the exchange rates that the quotations have been based on. There are times when these rates fluctuate more than usual. When items have to be imported, several weeks of deliveries may have to be expected. The importer pays his supplier in foreign currency and the exchange rate that applies is the rate at the date of payment of the supplier's invoice.

It is possible to buy forward cover for the expected foreign currency amount at the time of placing an order with the supplier overseas. This rate then applies when paying the supplies invoice.

When you place an order with us, request the current exchange rate at the time of ordering. This will allow us to inform you of any price variations due to the exchange that may apply.

If you are able to accept the variation place your order and request PLEASE PROCURE FORWARD COVER this will allow us to lock in on the applicable exchange rate and there will be no variation in price when the items are supplied.

We cannot control the exchange rates, we can assist in limiting exposure to exchange variations.
