• Available in 500ml, 1 litre and 2.5 litre glass bottles.

• Two formulae are offered, these being the traditional Carnoy's and the mod. of St Vincents Hospital Sydney incorparating Mathanol as well.

• Both may be used as Rapaid primary fixatives for biopsy material eg. lymph nodes, but immersion should be kept short to avoid loss of nuclear detail. Main use is for the primary fixation of "Bloody" fresh smears for cytology not exceeding 20min application to lyse red cells.

• Ocassionally used for the fixation and partial clearing of Axillary clearances in order to increase yeild of lymph nodes.
