With its assembly-line working principle, the Medite Tissue Stainer COT 20 offers many advantages to busy histology and cytology laboratories, where many slides have to be stained during the day. According to the chosen time intervals, 500 to 1000 slides can be processed in one hour.

Staining Continuously And Linear, What Does This Mean?

Following the chosen stain and drain time, the slide basket is transported from one bath to another. The staining time is adjustable from 20 seconds to 12 minutes and is the same for every bath. The staining result is determined by the selection of reagents and the number of identical baths used. Using this method, after movement of the first slide and hanger to the stainer bath, a second slide and hanger can be added without interrupting the process. The flexibility of the tissue stainer COT 20 allows a large number of variations, of common staining solutions and procedures.

COT 20.200 Closed Version comes with closed side panels.

This model enables and efficient workflow at a reduced number of staining stations. It provides 23 staining stations and requires less bench space than the Standard Model.
